My name is Lynne Homrich and I’m writing to let you know that today I announced my candidacy for Congress in Georgia’s 7th Congressional District to replace Congressman Rob Woodall, who is not running for re-election. As a conservative Republican, a businesswoman and mother of four, I know the issues facing families in our community and I know how to get things done.
Nancy Pelosi, AOC and the extreme angry voices in Congress do not speak for women and they do not speak for me. That’s why I am stepping up to run for Congress.
This country and the Atlanta area have provided incredible opportunity to me and my family, and I will fight to ensure everyone has the same opportunities that I have had to succeed. In Congress, I will protect the values and principles that have made this country the greatest in the world and bring the perspective of an outsider, a businesswoman and a mom to solve problems and get things done where the career politicians have failed.
Washington isn’t working for us; it’s working for the politicians and special interests. I’m going to go to Washington and help President Trump drain the swamp, unleash the American economy and stop liberal extremism from ruining our way of life.
You can count on me to fight socialist schemes like the Green New Deal, stand with President Trump to secure the border and build the wall, protect the Second Amendment and combat the extremism of the abortion lobby.
It’s time for competency not chaos; results not resistance. I’m ready to change Washington and solve problems where career politicians in both parties have failed.
